ADVERSITY DEVELOPS MATURITY
This must be the week for all the cliche's about adversity... "become better, not bitter." Wisdom and maturity are usually born out of difficult times. We get very little wisdom from success. In fact, what is typically born out of success is pride and arrogance. As the world continues to change at faster rates, problems we face and overcome now prepare us for future challenges.
Research is showing some companies 20 years ago wouldn't hire someone if they had experienced significant failure. Some companies today won't hire someone if they haven't failed at something and overcame it.
